The 10K Run

The Amazing Ever-Reddening Man Does London

I’m doing the 11th British 10K London Run, which will have ‘over 25,000 runners including top athletes and celebrity runners… with approximately 40,000 spectators lining the course’. It’s all happening on Sunday, 10th July.

I’m running/imploding (I get very red and sweaty, you see) for Tacade, who are a small charity doing amazing things in schools and community groups nationwide.

Funding is very tough out there at the moment. Great (but small) organisations like Tacade are feeling the squeeze. Their top quality materials on drugs, self-esteem, homophobia etc reach thousands of children and young people. We need these guys and our communities would be much worse off if they weren’t around.

GIMME FIVE: All I ask is £5! I know you are plagued with people asking for sponsorship, and all causes are deserving, but it all adds up. UK taxpayers have an extra 25% added! Sponsor me here – it’s easy-peasy!

NON UK: You can make a donation here with PayPal. This goes to my credit card and I’ll transfer your donation later. MyDonate can’t handle non-UK accounts yet, so this is my workaround. I can, however, show offline donations and with your permission, I can thank you on Facebook or Twitter.  Click the button or right here.

D'oh!

Yeah, yeah, get a move on, etc etc...

INCENTIVE! I dabble in the DJ world, so I will make one lucky donor a unique mix of 10 of his/her fave tracks! I’ll post a link or send a CD anywhere in the world!
Follow my progress here or http://facebook.com/Tacade   I’m also on Vimeo and YouTube. Training stats are at WalkJogRun (recommended!)
